Taliban Publicly Flog Three Individuals In Takhar

The Taliban's Supreme Court said that it publicly flogged three people, including two women, on Wednesday for alleged extramarital affairs in Farkhar district of Takhar province.

The court said that it sentenced each of the individuals to 39 lashes.

The Taliban's Supreme Court on Wednesday said in a statement that the individuals were punished after the verdict of the Farkhar District Primary Court.
