Bamiyan Armed Attack Death Toll Rises to Six
Abdul Matin Qani, the spokesperson for the Taliban Ministry of Interior, announced that the death toll from the armed attack on tourists in Bamiyan has risen to six.
The victims include three Spanish tourists and three Afghan nationals. Additionally, seven people, including three Afghans and four foreign tourists, were injured.
The announcement came on Saturday. Qani confirmed that seven individuals had been arrested in connection with the incident.
He emphasised that the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior is taking the incident seriously, conducting thorough investigations, and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
