Author & University Professor Zakaria Usoli Released from Taliban’s Detention

The family of the detained author and university professor Zakaria Usoli confirmed to Afghanistan International that he had been released from the Taliban’s detention on Monday. Usoli had been arrested by the Taliban in February from the Khairkhana area of Kabul city.

Ahead of his detention, Usoli had published a book about the Doha agreement between the Taliban and the United States.
