France Asks Taliban To Reverse Restrictions On Afghan Women & Girls

The French Permanent Mission at the United Nations, following a session on the situation of women and girls in Afghanistan attended by Afghan women activists, called for the immediate reversal of restrictions against women imposed by the Taliban.

France expressed solidarity with the Afghan people. This session has been held in continuation of the meeting by the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

In recent days, Afghan activists and journalists have participated in multiple sessions at the UN headquarters, engaging in discussions about Afghanistan's situation with representatives from various countries.
